Senior Finance Operations Manager

Job Summary

Owning the execution of financial operations, the full-time Senior Finance Operations Manager will manage billing and collections, sales tax compliance, and month-end close processes while supporting FP&A and management reporting in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee accounts receivable, revenue reconciliations, and ensure timely billing and collections
• Support the annual budget and rolling forecast cycles, providing variance analyses and maintaining financial dashboards
• Manage grant expense tracking and compliance reporting, ensuring accurate submissions and audit preparation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5-7 years of finance or accounting experience with ownership of FP&A processes and accounting operations
• Solid understanding of GAAP and nonprofit accounting fundamentals
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including financial modeling and complex reconciliations
• Experience with ERP systems (Sage Intacct preferred) and financial planning tools (Vena or similar)
