Senior Financial Accountant

Job Summary

To support financial operations for multiple US-based plants, the full-time Senior Financial Accountant will manage accounting transactions, account reconciliations, and financial close processes while ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies, with the flexibility to work remotely but requiring periodic in-office presence in Charlotte, NC.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily, weekly, and monthly accounting activities to ensure timely recording of financial transactions
• Perform monthly closing processes, including preparing journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Analyze financial data to support business decision-making and identify opportunities for process improvement

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements
• Experience with journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities
• Strong analytical skills to identify variances and trends in financial data
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
