Job Summary

To support a finance function in transformation, the part-time contract Senior Financial Accountant (AU Certified) will manage statutory reporting, oversee audits, and ensure compliance with tax obligations across Australia and the US.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage statutory financial statements and audits for Australian and US entities
• Ensure compliance with AU and US tax obligations, including income tax returns and payroll tax
• Maintain the accuracy of the general ledger and provide technical accounting guidance to the team

Required qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification is mandatory
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience with external audit exposure
• Experience preparing statutory financial statements in accordance with AASB and IFRS
• Expertise in AU tax regulations, with US tax experience preferred
• Experience with multi-entity accounting and intercompany eliminations
