Senior Financial Analyst

Job Summary

To support operational auditing and financial reporting, the remote contract Senior Financial Analyst will perform complex accounting tasks, oversee junior accountants, and ensure compliance with GAAP and SAP regulations.

Key responsibilities:

• Review and supervise the work of junior accountants, ensuring accuracy in accounting work papers
• Conduct operational and expense audits, reporting findings and providing recommendations
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly financial reporting packages

Required qualifications:

• BA in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
• Experience in operational auditing and understanding of audit principles
• Knowledge of GAAP and Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP)
• Supervisory experience in an accounting environment
• Ability to conduct independent accounting-based research and complex analytical projects
