Senior Financial Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst, Merchandising Analytics to drive high-impact decisions at the intersection of finance, data, and merchandising.

Key Responsibilities

• Leverage SQL, Snowflake, Power BI, and advanced analytics to uncover insights on pricing, assortment, and profitability
• Partner closely with cross-functional teams to influence strategy and fuel growth in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
• Conduct in-depth financial modeling, PVM analysis, and scenario planning to identify opportunities for margin improvement and overall category profitability

Required Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or merchandising finance, ideally within retail or e-commerce
• Experience partnering with Merchandising or Category teams, providing actionable insights on pricing and category profitability
• Strong background in Price, Volume, Mix (PVM) analysis and financial storytelling
• Hands-on experience with new SKU, brand, or assortment launches, including forecasting and margin modeling
• Proficiency in SQL, Snowflake, Power BI, and advanced Excel for data extraction and analysis
