Senior Financial Analyst

Job Summary

To support a growing finance team, the full-time remote Senior Financial Analyst will manage the preparation and analysis of participation profit-share financial statements, lead month-end close tasks, and provide strategic data analysis while mentoring junior analysts.

Key responsibilities

• Run the preparation and analysis of participation profit-share and distribution financial statements, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and accounting standards
• Lead fiscal month-end close tasks, including reconciliations and expense accruals, while maintaining financial integrity across supported labels
• Compile and analyze large sets of transactional data to support reporting, budgets, and cash forecasts, proactively addressing any data issues or audit claims

Required qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance with 3-5 years of relevant financial experience
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, particularly with complex calculations and large data sets
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, including P&L statements and fiscal close processes
• Proven ability to work autonomously and deliver accurate results under tight deadlines
• Experience in mentoring and providing feedback to peers in a collaborative environment
