Senior Financial Analyst

Job Summary

Acting as the primary functional link between Finance and Accounting, the remote Senior Financial Analyst will manage revenue forecasting and budgeting, ensure alignment with GAAP standards, and provide mentorship to junior analysts.

Key responsibilities

• Produce month, quarter, and year-end close deliverables, including variance analysis and management reporting materials
• Evaluate the company portfolio for Price/Volume/Mix analysis to distinguish revenue growth drivers
• Own the methodology for returns reserves and revenue allowances, using predictive operational data to optimize reserves

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in revenue modeling with a strong understanding of revenue recognition principles
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Expert-level Excel skills and experience with BI tools like Tableau or PowerBI
• Proven ability to analyze large datasets to identify trends in retention, churn, and pricing optimization
• Experience in a mentorship or lead capacity is preferred, along with relevant professional certifications like CPA or CFA
