Senior Financial Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting the financial operations of the Facilities and Capital Planning department, the full-time Senior Financial Analyst will conduct financial reconciliations, prepare reports, assist with project maintenance, and collaborate with stakeholders, while working in a hybrid environment that requires on-campus presence.

Key responsibilities

• Perform complex reconciliations and prepare financial analyses, including journal entries and cost analyses
• Review construction cost models and implement new accounting policies in accordance with university guidelines
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support billing activities and ensure accurate financial reporting

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3+ years of professional experience in project accounting, cost accounting, or capital financial management
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of financial systems
• Experience with financial reporting and maintaining integrity in financial data
• Strong project management skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
