Senior Financial Analyst

Job Summary

Focused on software and usage-based spend management, the hybrid Senior Financial Analyst will manage financial reporting, budgeting, and cost optimization while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance budget accountability and reduce waste.

Key responsibilities

• Own monthly and quarterly reporting on software and vendor spend, including building and maintaining dashboards for budget vs. actuals and trend analysis
• Develop financial models for usage-based and subscription spend, leading the annual budgeting process and producing variance analysis
• Identify waste and underutilized licenses, quantify savings opportunities, and manage financial relationships with software vendors

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related analytical field
• 3+ years of experience in FP&A or financial analysis with exposure to technology or software spend management
• Demonstrated experience in budgeting, variance analysis, and financial forecasting
• Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for financial modeling and experience with billing exports from cloud or SaaS vendors
• Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) for spend reporting and dashboards
