Senior Financial Analyst

Job Summary

To support hospital leadership with data-driven decision-making, the full-time Senior Financial Analyst will analyze financial information, manage budgeting processes, and lead process improvement initiatives in a fully remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Design and support financial data analysis and reporting to assist senior management in strategic decisions
• Own the cost accounting analysis process and assist with annual revenue budgeting and variance analysis
• Lead software implementations and identify opportunities for process improvements within the organization

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or equivalent; MBA preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a financial analyst in a hospital system, with strong familiarity in cost accounting
• Experience with data requests, running reports, and manipulating data in Excel
• Preferred experience with SQL and/or Cerner reporting
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a healthcare office setting
