Senior Financial Analyst

Job Summary

To support financial operations in a Financial Services organization, the fully remote Contract-to-hire Senior Financial Analyst will analyze financial results, review capital expenditures, and produce financial reporting packages while collaborating with internal teams to enhance financial decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze financial results and prepare recurring and ad hoc reports for planning and forecasting
• Review capital expenditures to ensure accurate recording and compliance with accounting guidance
• Produce financial reporting packages using Lawson and Hyperion Financial Reporting, ensuring data integrity

Required qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst or in a closely related finance role
• Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles related to capital expenditures
• Ability to interpret financial data and communicate insights to cross-functional partners
• Experience in technical accounting research and implementing new pronouncements
• Advanced analytical skills with a high standard for accuracy
