Senior Financial Analyst

Job Summary

Focused on software and usage-based spend management, the full-time Senior Financial Analyst will manage cost visibility, governance, and optimization across key software and AI vendor relationships while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive budget accountability and improve forecast accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Own monthly and quarterly reporting on software and SaaS vendor spend, including building and maintaining dashboards for budget vs. actuals and trend analysis
• Develop financial models for usage-based and subscription spend, leading the annual budgeting process and producing monthly variance analysis
• Proactively identify waste and underutilized licenses, quantifying savings opportunities and tracking realized savings against targets

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related analytical field
• 3+ years of experience in FP&A or financial analysis, with exposure to technology or software spend management
• Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for financial modeling and experience with billing exports from cloud or SaaS vendors
• Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) for spend reporting and dashboards
• Ability to translate complex billing structures into clear financial reporting for non-technical stakeholders
