Senior Financial Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting financial planning and analysis activities, the full-time remote Senior Financial Analyst will manage inventory accounting, cost of goods sold, and overall financial performance while collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide critical insights for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and report on key financial metrics, preparing monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc financial reports to support management decision-making
• Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy and collaborate with operations teams to resolve discrepancies and improve performance
• Develop advanced SQL queries and analytical models to consolidate datasets and deliver data-driven insights for operational and financial reporting

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics with 3-5 years of financial analysis and accounting experience, preferably in inventory or COGS
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, particularly in inventory and COGS accounting
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and financial reporting tools
• Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, with experience in visualization tools like Tableau, Alteryx, or Power BI
• Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting findings to senior stakeholders and building relationships across departments
