Job Summary

Leading financial planning and budgeting for clinical research studies, the full-time Senior Financial Analyst will negotiate contracts, manage grants, and perform advanced financial analysis while working remotely or onsite in Roanoke, Virginia.

Key responsibilities

• Develop complex clinical trial budgets and ensure alignment with sponsor requirements
• Negotiate budgets and contractual terms with industry sponsors and government agencies
• Perform advanced financial modeling and variance analysis to support decision-making

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or business administration, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years of finance or accounting experience
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and proficiency in MS Office
• Experience in managing clinical trial grants and ensuring regulatory compliance
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed work accurately and timely
