Senior Financial Analyst

Job Summary

To support financial operations, the remote contract Senior Financial Analyst will perform complex accounting, reporting, and financial analysis while overseeing junior accountants and ensuring compliance with GAAP and SAP.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct independent accounting research and complex analytical projects
• Manage the financial close process and prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
• Review audit findings and provide recommendations for operational improvements

Required qualifications:

• 5-7 years of experience in accounting, including supervisory experience
• Strong understanding of audit principles and operational/expense audits
• Experience with financial statement reporting and regulatory compliance
• Proficiency in reviewing accounting work papers and reporting audit results
• Ability to work in PST or MST time zones
