Senior Financial Analyst

Job Summary

Providing senior-level analyst support for finance activities, the full-time remote Senior Financial Analyst will focus on financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and modeling to aid in planning for the Kentucky Health Plan.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyze financial information, generating forecasts and evaluating trends in medical and pharmacy expenses
• Oversee financial transactions, including monthly and quarterly payments, and manage provider escrow accounting
• Prepare the annual quality survey for the Kentucky health plan and develop policies to support finance activities

Required qualifications

• At least 3 years of finance experience or equivalent education and experience
• Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
