Senior Financial Analyst
Job Summary
Supporting NOAA's budget planning and execution, the hybrid Senior Financial Analyst will manage financial controls, develop budgets and schedules for multiple contracts, and provide analysis and reporting for project costs.
Key responsibilities
- Develop plans, budgets, and schedules to meet contractual requirements for GEO/LEO contracts
- Participate in Program Planning and Budget Execution (PPBE) and provide guidance for budget formulation
- Monitor project costs and analyze financial data to support management reporting and decision-making
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree plus 10+ years of experience in budget support for a government agency or equivalent
- Experience with NOAA and/or NASA PPBE processes and budget justification development
- Proven ability to manage multi-year appropriated funds and obligations according to federal policies
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including advanced data analysis techniques
- Demonstrated experience in developing and analyzing cost estimates and historical data
