Senior Financial Analyst
Job Summary
Seeking a remote Senior Financial Analyst, this full-time position will manage financial forecasts, conduct variance analysis, and prepare operational performance reports while collaborating closely with the Transportation team to enhance forecasting and cost performance.
Key responsibilities
- Complete monthly analysis on transportation initiatives and communicate performance drivers to senior management
- Collaborate with partners to strategize on weekly performance reporting related to Transportation costs and margins
- Prepare financial reporting presentations for investors and the board, highlighting key business metrics and trends
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in FP&A or a related field, with relevant experience in Transportation
- Strong financial modeling skills and understanding of financial statements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; knowledge of NetSuite, Smartview, SQL, PowerBI, and Power Query is preferred
- Ability to build relationships and communicate complex financial concepts to various stakeholders
