Senior Financial Analyst
Job Summary
Serving as a Finance Business Partner, the remote Senior Financial Analyst will manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for Communications and other teams, transforming financial data into actionable insights to support mission-driven decision-making.
Key responsibilities
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to drive mission goals
- Develop and maintain financial models that identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Prepare comprehensive reports with variance analysis and KPIs to guide leadership actions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field with 5+ years of financial analysis experience
- Direct experience in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, preferably in a nonprofit environment
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and modern financial modeling tools
- Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders
- Experience working independently in a remote, multicultural team environment
