Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to work remotely in a full-time capacity, responsible for leading the preparation and analysis of complex financial statements, managing month-end close tasks, and acting as a quality gatekeeper for variance analysis in a dynamic music industry environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation, analysis, and review of complex participation profit-share and distribution financial statements
• Manage fiscal month-end close tasks, including reconciliations and expense accruals, ensuring financial integrity
• Act as the primary quality gatekeeper for variance analysis, providing clear narratives for management and ensuring audit-readiness

Required qualifications:

• BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance with 3-5 years of relevant professional experience
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, particularly with complex calculations and large data sets
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles related to P&L statements and reconciliations
• Proven ability to take ownership of work and deliver accurate results under pressure
• Experience translating complex financial information into actionable insights for stakeholders
