Senior Financial Data Analyst

Job Summary

Joining a dedicated team in the healthcare sector, the full-time Senior Financial Data Analyst will develop and maintain reports and analytics, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery while utilizing advanced tools like SQL and Tableau to support financial decision-making in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, document, and maintain financial reports and analytics to support leadership decision-making
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of routine and ad hoc reports while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
• Lead medical claims reinsurance reporting and support the preparation of provider group financial statements

Required qualifications

• Minimum of five years of relevant experience, particularly in an actuarial role focused on claims reserves and IBNR estimation
• Proficiency in technical tools such as MS Excel, SQL, Tableau, Access, and Python
• Experience in conducting complex data analyses and developing reports/dashboards in a healthcare environment
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
