Senior Financial Modeler

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Strategic Financial Modeler.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain three-statement financial models for strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Analyze and explain performance drivers for insurance carriers, including variance analysis on key financial elements
• Create presentation materials for senior leadership and the Board, and support financial modeling for fundraising and strategic decisions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting or related field
• 8+ years of relevant experience in insurance Finance or Accounting
• 5+ years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)
• 2+ years of experience building financial models specific to insurance companies
• Strong knowledge of insurance accounting, both GAAP and Statutory
