Job Summary

Supporting program managers as a finance business partner, the full-time Senior Financial Operations Consultant will manage month-end closing processes, prepare financial statements for external audits, and conduct financial analysis in a remote capacity for candidates based in New England.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end-of-month closing process, ensuring accuracy and driving efficiencies
• Prepare financial statements and documentation for external audits while liaising with accounting firms
• Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and variance analysis to support program budgets and business strategies

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in accounting or financial operations
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business preferred, or equivalent experience
• Strong cost accounting background with experience in preparing financial statements for audits
• Proven experience managing month-end close processes efficiently
• Solid understanding of ASC 606/revenue recognition and its financial implications
