Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

Job Summary

Focused on reinsurance accounting and financial analysis for life and annuity products, the full-time Senior Financial Reporting Analyst will manage technical accounting matters, prepare analyses for complex transactions, and coordinate with external auditors while working in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support research and documentation of technical accounting matters related to reinsurance under various frameworks
• Lead components of the reinsurance accounting close process, including journal entries and financial reporting
• Collaborate cross-functionally to implement new reinsurance arrangements and drive process improvements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a High School Diploma required
• 3+ years of experience in reinsurance accounting for life and annuity products
• Proficiency in accounting principles specific to life insurance and annuity products
• CPA or CPA-eligible preferred
• Experience in public accounting, including financial statement preparation and audit
