Senior Financial Reporting Analyst
Job Summary
To support a growing finance team, the remote Senior Financial Reporting Analyst will prepare SEC filings, financial statements, and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP while collaborating cross-functionally with various stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of SEC filings, including 8-Ks, 10-Qs, and 10-Ks, along with XBRL tagging
- Prepare financial statements and disclosures in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- Work with external auditors and ensure SOX compliance throughout financial reporting processes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent business degree
- 2-5+ years of relevant industry or public accounting experience
- Understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC disclosure and reporting requirements
- CPA license or actively working towards obtaining the license
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
