Senior Fire Protection Designer

Job Summary

Experienced in fire sprinkler system design, the remote Senior Fire Protection Designer will develop detailed designs, perform hydraulic calculations, and ensure code compliance while managing multiple projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed fire sprinkler system designs and layout drawings using HydraCAD Software
• Perform hydraulic calculations and material take-offs in accordance with NFPA standards and local codes
• Review architectural, structural, and mechanical plans to ensure proper system coordination

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in fire sprinkler or fire protection design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, HydraCAD, Navisworks, and/or Revit
• In-depth knowledge of NFPA, FM Global, and other related standards
• NICET Level III or IV in Water-Based Systems Layout (preferred)
• Strong understanding of building and fire codes
