Senior Fire Protection Designer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Senior Fire Protection Designer, this full-time remote position will develop fire sprinkler system designs, perform hydraulic calculations, and ensure code compliance while managing multiple projects from concept through completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed fire sprinkler system designs and layout drawings using HydraCAD Software
• Perform hydraulic calculations and material take-offs in accordance with NFPA standards and local codes
• Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and field supervisors to ensure design intent and code compliance are achieved

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in fire sprinkler or fire protection design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, HydraCAD, Navisworks, and/or Revit
• In-depth knowledge of NFPA, FM Global, and other related standards
• NICET Level III or IV in Water-Based Systems Layout (preferred)
• Strong understanding of building and fire codes
