Senior Fire Protection Engineer

Job Summary

Leading fire protection engineering design efforts, the fully remote Senior Fire Protection Engineer will prepare drawings, specifications, and calculations while managing project delivery and mentoring junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Independently prepare fire protection design documents, including drawings and specifications
• Manage multiple projects to ensure technical accuracy, coordination, and adherence to schedules and budgets
• Conduct site visits and provide solutions to field-related challenges while maintaining quality assurance documentation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in fire protection, mechanical, or architectural engineering
• Six to ten years of fire protection design experience
• PE license strongly preferred or actively working toward licensure
• Advanced knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and loss prevention practices
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for producing and reviewing design deliverables
