Senior Firewall Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Firewall Security Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, configure, and optimize Palo Alto and Check Point firewall environments
• Review and remediate overly permissive firewall rules to enhance network security
• Monitor and analyze security logs using Splunk to detect anomalies and threats

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or firewall engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto and Check Point Firewalls
• 5+ years of experience with Splunk, including log analysis and threat investigation
• Experience managing firewalls in Azure cloud environments
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
