Senior Firewall Security Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting firewall infrastructure and leading IT/OT network segmentation efforts, the remote Senior Firewall Network Security Engineer will manage enterprise firewall environments, design security policies, and administer Palo Alto Networks solutions while driving security initiatives in complex environments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support enterprise firewall environments, including troubleshooting and operational maintenance
• Design, implement, and maintain firewall policies, access controls, and security configurations
• Lead IT/OT segmentation initiatives to ensure secure separation between corporate IT and operational technology networks

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in network security engineering or firewall administration
• Strong hands-on expertise with Palo Alto Networks Firewalls in enterprise environments
• Proficiency with Panorama, Prisma VPN, App-ID, User-ID, and ADEM
• Proven experience in designing and implementing IT/OT network segmentation
• Solid troubleshooting and analytical skills in enterprise-scale environments
