Senior Firmware Engineer

Job Summary

Focused on developing core firmware for next-generation GPU architectures, the full-time Senior Firmware Engineer will architect, build, and debug critical firmware within the GPU OOBHUB, collaborating closely with hardware teams and ensuring robust peripheral control and secure communication.

Key responsibilities

• Build, architect, develop, and debug critical firmware for GPU OOBHUB, emphasizing secure communication interfaces
• Optimize high-reliability firmware update mechanisms and telemetry systems for GPU subsystems
• Collaborate with hardware architects to define firmware-hardware interfaces and communication protocols for new silicon

Required qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in low-level firmware development, embedded systems, or microcontroller programming
• Strong background in managing peripherals and communication stacks via industry-standard protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C/I3C, PCIe)
• Expert-level C development skills in resource-constrained environments
• Experience with RISC-V or similar embedded processor architectures
