Senior Firmware Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the development and maintenance of embedded software for optical transceivers, the full-time Senior Firmware Engineer will design, implement, test, and debug firmware, ensuring reliable and efficient operation while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Writing, debugging, and testing firmware for optical transceivers using C or C++
• Collaborating with hardware engineers to ensure seamless firmware and hardware integration
• Thoroughly testing firmware to meet performance and reliability requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Relevant experience in firmware development, embedded systems, and optical transceivers
• Master's degree or Ph.D. may be preferred for more senior positions
