Senior Firmware Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Senior Firmware Engineer, this position will focus on real-time embedded system software design, firmware development for complex machines, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance security and performance in a dynamic environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop real-time embedded software for control systems in complex machines
- Conduct requirements gathering, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation of embedded software components
- Participate in design reviews and hardware/software integration to ensure product integrity and performance
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in embedded software, hardware, or firmware development
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science
- Extensive experience with C++ and/or C in an embedded development environment
- Experience with embedded Linux, VxWorks, or other real-time operating systems
- Familiarity with development processes, methodologies, and tools, including revision control systems
