Senior Firmware Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Manager, Firmware Engineering to lead an embedded firmware team developing cardiac monitoring devices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of firmware engineers, fostering a high-performing environment
• Oversee firmware project execution, managing priorities, goals, and timelines
• Guide technical decision-making and partner cross-functionally with various engineering teams

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• 2+ years of experience managing firmware or embedded software engineers
• 3+ years of hands-on firmware development experience in resource-constrained systems
• Experience in a regulated industry, preferably medical devices
• Familiarity with development standards such as IEC 62304 and ISO 13485
