Senior Fixture Design Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the design and development of manufacturing fixtures and tooling solutions, the full-time Senior Fixture Design Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive projects from concept through production launch in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of various fixtures and tooling, ensuring they meet product and process requirements
- Create detailed 3D models, fabrication drawings, and design documentation using CAD software
- Collaborate with global engineering teams and suppliers to coordinate project activities and ensure on-time delivery of tooling programs
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 7+ years of experience in fixture design, tooling design, or manufacturing engineering
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD, with strong experience in 3D modeling and fabrication documentation
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including machining, welding, and assembly
- Experience in managing multiple projects and leading cross-functional collaboration
