Senior FOIA Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. FOIA (Privacy) Analyst to perform advanced FOIA processing and serve as an expert resource on statutory requirements and case handling.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the processing of complex and sensitive FOIA requests
• Conduct and validate comprehensive record searches and apply FOIA exemptions accurately
• Provide mentorship and support to junior analysts while ensuring compliance with FOIA and Privacy Act requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; FOIA-related training or certifications preferred
• Three years of FOIA processing experience within the last 48 months
• Experience in a federal FOIA program or high-volume FOIA environment
• Expertise in Privacy Act and federal records management
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or other required clearance
