Senior Forecast Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr Forecast Consultant to deliver forecasting solutions that support grid operations and regulatory decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical and software support for long-term distribution forecasting applications
• Manage and execute forecasting consulting projects with accountability for quality and client outcomes
• Develop and enhance advanced forecasting models and analyze historical data for forecasting needs

Required Qualifications

• 10-15+ years of experience in the energy industry
• Deep expertise in Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) and load shape modeling
• Significant experience with time series forecasting using statistical and machine learning techniques
• Strong proficiency with database technologies and data environments (e.g., SQL, Oracle)
• Experience using code-based data and statistical modeling tools, with proficiency in Python, R, or SAS preferred
