Senior Forensic Accountant

Job Summary

To support complex financial investigations involving fraud and mismanagement, the remote Senior Forensic Accountant will conduct sophisticated financial analysis, trace funds, and collaborate with investigative teams while occasionally traveling as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct complex forensic accounting analysis to trace proceeds of fraud through financial documentation
• Analyze financial records to identify fraudulent transactions and indicators of financial misconduct
• Prepare well-documented financial analysis and investigative summaries suitable for civil and criminal proceedings

Required Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in complex financial investigations involving fraud proceeds tracing
• Five or more years of forensic accounting experience with a focus on money laundering and asset tracing
• Demonstrated experience in tracing and analyzing financial transactions, including bank records
• Current certification as a CPA, CFE, or CAMS
• Working knowledge of financial investigative techniques and commercial databases
