Senior Forward Deployed Engineer

Job Summary

Responsible for production operations and incident response, the full-time Senior Forward Deployed Engineer will engage with customers to resolve complex technical challenges while ensuring system reliability and operational excellence in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a senior technical escalation point during production incidents and lead real-time incident triage and recovery efforts
• Own post-launch reliability and operational quality of core systems, ensuring fixes from incidents are integrated into the core product
• Engage directly with strategic customers to support complex deployments and translate customer learnings into product improvements

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, SRE, or production operations
• Deep hands-on experience operating production systems in AWS and troubleshooting Databricks
• Proficiency in Python and experience building production services or tooling
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, incident management, and CI/CD pipelines
• Proven ability to manage problems end-to-end, delivering fixes with minimal documentation
