Senior Forward Deployed Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time remote Senior Forward Deployed Engineer, this role focuses on application-layer platform work including Python automation, database operations, API integration, and backend service configuration for customer environments in regulated sectors.
Key responsibilities
- Write and maintain data migration scripts and manage database operations across customer environments
- Configure and validate backend platform services per customer requirements and build Python automation tooling
- Integrate platform APIs for customer-specific workflows and troubleshoot application-layer issues in customer environments
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software engineering or a technical customer-facing delivery role
- Strong Python development skills, including production scripts and automation tools
- Hands-on experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL
- Working knowledge of REST APIs and experience with Kubernetes at an operational level
- Familiarity with identity and authentication systems such as OAuth and SAML
