Senior FPGA Firmware Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a part-time Senior FPGA Firmware Engineer with over 10 years of experience to design, develop, verify, and debug firmware for aerospace applications while collaborating with hardware and systems engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop firmware for FPGA-based embedded systems in aerospace applications
• Verify and debug firmware, ensuring high-quality performance and compliance with specifications
• Collaborate with hardware and systems engineering teams to integrate firmware with hardware components

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in VHDL, MATLAB, Simulink, and FPGA-based embedded systems
• Strong expertise in digital design, RTL development, and FPGA implementation
• Proficient in C/C++ programming and version control using Git
• Experience with Xilinx Vivado or Intel Quartus tools
• Background in the aerospace/defense domain is highly preferred
