Senior Front-End Developer Support

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Overnight Senior Support Specialist in Developer Support will resolve complex front-end technology issues for merchants and partners, enhance their online store experiences, and collaborate with internal teams to provide exceptional technical support.

Key responsibilities:

• Resolve issues related to merchants' front-end technology stacks, including Online Storefront and Checkout Extensions
• Assist merchants in customizing their Online Store through consultation or implementation
• Provide real-time support to internal teams and collaborate with engineering to enhance Shopify's product offerings

Required qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React and Typescript
• Experience with version control systems like Git and understanding of object-oriented programming principles
• Strong adaptability and resilience in dynamic environments
• Exceptional communication skills for conveying complex web development topics
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent conversations effectively
