Senior Front-End Network Engineer

Job Summary

To ensure the operational health and performance of large-scale Ethernet front-end networks, the full-time Senior Front-End Network Engineer will manage incident response, performance tuning, and automation in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Owning the operational health, configuration consistency, and performance tuning of large-scale Ethernet front-end fabrics supporting AI workloads
• Leading the diagnosis and resolution of complex network incidents, including optics, routing, and storage connectivity issues
• Collaborating with SREs and engineering teams to define automation requirements and validate network designs

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with at least 3 years in large-scale Ethernet data center or cloud networks
• Deep operational experience with high-speed Ethernet fabrics in hyperscale or production environments
• Strong expertise with Arista (EOS) and/or Nokia platforms
• Solid understanding of modern data center networking protocols and architectures
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or shell scripting for automation and configuration management
