Senior Frontend Developer
Job Summary
To support a high-visibility modernization program, the fully remote Senior Frontend Developer will transform legacy Excel-based workflows into modern web applications, develop responsive user interfaces, and integrate frontend applications with backend services while working East Coast hours.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop responsive web applications for the SEC Search platform and build intuitive user interfaces
- Create reusable React components and integrate frontend applications with FastAPI backend services and RESTful APIs
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and support modernization efforts across the SEARCH and ARTEMIS platforms
Required qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience with React, including component architecture and state management
- Advanced Python development experience with command-line proficiency
- Strong SQL experience, including complex queries and database interaction
- Experience building responsive, data-intensive web applications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered
