Senior Frontend Engineer

Job Summary

Specializing in frontend performance tuning, the full-time remote Senior Frontend Engineer will diagnose and resolve performance issues, define measurable performance targets, and enhance the performance capabilities of the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and lead resolution of issues related to rendering, memory leaks, and JavaScript execution
• Define and improve performance targets using various monitoring and testing tools
• Establish performance budgets and raise organizational performance capabilities through mentoring and documentation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Deep expertise in modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, Svelte, etc.), TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Expert-level proficiency with performance analysis tools such as Chrome DevTools and Lighthouse
• Strong understanding of browser internals and proven experience improving Core Web Vitals
• Hands-on experience diagnosing memory leaks and optimizing frontend performance
