Job Summary
Leading the design of a multi-tenant HR platform, the remote Senior Full-Stack Cloud Architect will make critical architectural decisions regarding cloud provider selection, persistence strategies, and load-balancing approaches while ensuring strict data isolation for clients.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement the overall cloud architecture, including client-specific persistence and load-balancing strategies
- Make technical decisions for a backend that securely isolates proprietary client HR data
- Oversee the development of the web client, justifying framework choices based on project needs
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of full-stack experience with ownership of architectural decisions on large-scale systems
- Deep expertise in AWS or Azure, including hands-on experience with Lambda architecture (if AWS)
- Experience in large-scale financial or regulated environments, ensuring high uptime and data isolation
- Proven ability to run different persistence and scaling configurations per customer or tenant
- Strong, defensible opinions on technology stack choices, supported by tradeoff reasoning
