Senior Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the remote Senior Full Stack Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain secure, scalable cloud-native applications using Python, Java, and Angular while collaborating within an Agile engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications for legacy modernization and new initiatives
• Build scalable backend services and develop responsive user interfaces using modern technologies
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle

Required qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a CBP Public Trust
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
• 7+ years of professional software development experience
• Demonstrated experience with Python, Java, Angular, and microservices architecture
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development
