Senior Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support Veterans Affairs initiatives, the full-time Senior Full Stack Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS, ensuring reliable data delivery and integration with internal platforms
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to define API contracts and participate in code reviews while promoting best software engineering practices

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with strong back-end focus in Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience building and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with Angular and modern front-end frameworks
• Working knowledge of AWS services, including API Gateway and Lambda
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
