Senior Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Full Stack Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions, design and implement RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to serve EDI healthcare records
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to define API contracts and ensure reliable data delivery

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong back-end focus in Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience building and integrating RESTful APIs that serve structured healthcare data
• Hands-on experience with Angular for front-end development and API integration
• Working knowledge of cloud services, preferably AWS, including API Gateway and Lambda
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
