Senior Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support Veterans Affairs initiatives, the full-time Senior Full Stack Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions, design RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS, ensuring reliable data delivery
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to define API contracts and support deployment in AWS

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies (Java and/or NodeJS)
• Proven experience building RESTful APIs that serve structured healthcare data
• Hands-on experience with Angular and integrating APIs into front-end components
• Working knowledge of AWS services, including API Gateway and Lambda
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
